Keep it Simple

The homepage is your company's face to the world. Potential customers look at your company's online presence before doing any business with you. Complexity or confusion make people go away. Greetings!  My name is Chip Bush, and I started Web2Print Solutions in 1998.  I have been full-time employee of a Fortune 500 company in metro Atlanta for over twenty years.  My wife is a former accounting manager, also for a Fortune 500 company, who chose to stay at home to be a full-time mother in 1996.

W2PS was born on the weekends, driven by a simple business plan and a determination to take my journalism education and fascination for the web and learn it from the ground up.  I wanted to identify a way to apply my corporate skills in communications and presentation graphics to assist the small business and non-profit market, while providing a small amount of supplemental income to our family.  Our first client was a spin-off company from Ernst & Young, and they are still with us today.

Some would say we're treading on dangerous ground.  Why?  Because we seem to have our fingers in many pies.  Domain names.  Web pages.  Hosting.  Logos.  Presentations.  Surveys.  Newsletters.  Accounting.  (Yep, accounting.)  And we agree ... it's easy to wonder how we can be successful in providing quality service across such a broad range of elements.

Well ... the benefits lie in packaging and consistency.  As a small business owner or a member of a non-profit organization, you need to focus on your business.  Tracking down service providers for all the items listed above can be a daunting task.  Not to mention the inconsistencies you may be faced with if you have multiple vendors trying to service you in their way vs. coming together to make it all happen for you.

Communications is often a package deal.  If you need a web site but you don't have a "corporate identity" for visuals, then tackling your logo may be the first step.  Not sure what your clients want to know about for your website?  How about a survey first?  Do you need to get extra funding from your board so you can build your website?  Sounds like a presentation is required.

The point is ... we won't pretend that we can do everything.  I'm still that full-time veteran employee, and we are now a family of five.  If we're swamped and can't take on a new client, we'll be upfront about it.  If your needs outweigh our capability, we won't make you our guinea pig for learning.  But if you're looking for basic, solid communications and business services in the areas we've highlighted, we'll work to make you look good.  In our minds, integrity and honesty are more important than trying to turn a buck on someone, and I think that makes us stand out in the crowd.
